More Americans Flew on Sunday Than Any Other Day Since March 16

The TSA says that 1,047,934 Americans passed through security and flew to other parts of the country. That is the highest number of airline passengers since March 16 of this year. The TSA also says that 1,019,836 people flew on Friday, 984,369 flew on Saturday; adding the number of passengers for Sunday totals 3,052,139 passengers over the weekend. These numbers are dramatically lower than this same time last year but are the highest numbers TSA has seen since the country shut down from the coronavirus pandemic that was declared in early March.

March 16 was the day that the whole world shut down and basically became a ghost town. Restaurants, schools, businesses, stores, everything was all ordered to shut their doors. What was supposed to be “15 days to slow the spread” has become months of dictatorial government tyranny and Democrat leaders trying to keep Americans shut in their homes and shut out from the world. For months citizens haven’t seen members of their family and friends all because the government said it’s too dangerous. Too dangerous to see loved ones and potentially pass a virus to them that has roughly a 95-98.99% survival rate.

Americans gave up holidays, birthdays, graduations, weddings, and funerals. People died alone because of covid – whether or not they had the virus. For months Americans have allowed the government to tell them precisely what they can and can’t do, but no longer. Americans are fed up with the hypocrisy and treatment from the government and they aren’t going to take it anymore. Americans are ready to take their country back.

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) said that over 1 million people passed through TSA security checkpoints on Sunday to be screened to board their flights. Since March, travel decreased dramatically as Americans were ordered to stay in their homes. But now as the holiday season has arrived and covid cases are rising there are calls from the CDC, Dr. Fauci, and other Democratic leaders that Americans should not be seeing their families this Thanksgiving, Americans are deciding that they aren’t going to let this virus control their lives anymore. Too many moments have been lost because of this pandemic, and the American people have had enough of missing out.

Just before this big travel day, the CDC asked Americans to skip their traditional family plans for the holidays this year as the potential to spread the virus is too great. Dr. Fauci has been talking about canceling Thanksgiving for several weeks now. He said that if people start flying all over the country to be with their families on the holiday that those people “are going to get us into even more trouble than we’re in right now.”

Fauci offered that families should be conducting their own “risk-benefit assessment” as to whether or not it would be worth it to visit with relatives during the holidays. Which is exactly what conservatives have been saying for months regarding this entire pandemic. Americans should be allowed to decide for themselves and their families what is dangerous and what isn’t. Americans should be allowed to decide if they are going to wear a mask. Americans should be allowed to decide how many people can be in their homes. Americans should be able to decide all of this because this is America where her citizens are free.

He said, “I think the people in this country need to realistically do a risk-benefit assessment. Every family is different. Everyone has a different level of risk that they want to tolerate …  So you don’t want to call it all off, but you want to say at least give you and your family the benefit of having considered what is the risk-benefit of doing that as opposed to constraining what you do to the very core people who live in your home. You just need to consider it and make your own decision.”
