Even though President Trump has been at Walter Reed Medical Center, the Trump campaign has launched “Operation MAGA”. The announcement came from donaldjtrump.com, the official campaign website for President Trump. This new approach will deploy different resources and alter schedules in order to keep the reelection campaign running at full speed.
The website describes the initiative as “a full marshaling of top-level surrogates, campaign coalitions, and Trump supporters to rally behind the President and carry the campaign forward until the President returns to the trail.”
Moving forward, Vice President Mike Pence and members of the First Family like Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump, and Lara trump will make in-person campaign visits in key states. One included change is that the campaign will be holding virtual events until the debate against VP Mike Pence and Kamala Harris scheduled to take place on Wednesday, October 7 in Salt Lake City, Utah, after which, in-person events will continue.
Bill Stepien, Trump 2020 campaign manager said, “Operation MAGA will fire up the entire MAGA universe to keep President Trump’s campaign at full speed until our Commander-in-Chief returns to the campaign trail. Vice President Mike Pence, the First Family, our coalitions, and our grassroots supporters will be out in full force to show the real enthusiasm behind the President’s re-election and to show we’re working as hard as he always does. We also encourage all of the President’s supporters to pick up the banner themselves by volunteering in our grassroots Army for Trump, flying their Trump flags, putting out more yard signs, and wearing their MAGA gear proudly.”
Groups like Women for Trump, Black Voices for Trump, Latinos for Trump, as well as others will be working to keep the campaign moving swiftly forward to re-election on November 3, 2020.
This is a great move from President Trump as he proves once more his dedication to the American people and to keep this country great! His daughter, Ivanka posted this to social media today:
We all wish President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump a quick and full recovery!
