There is an ordinance in Michigan that requires campaign signs to be placed 33 feet from the center of the street, but at home in Commerce Township had two Trump 2020 signs too close to the street.
So, a worker was tasked with removing the signs so that they would be in accordance with the law. When he went to remove them his fingers were sliced because someone had taped razor blades to the bottom of the signs. He needed stitches on three of his fingers.
The Sheriff’s office is investigating and they said they found a second sign taped with razor blades. Officers spoke with the homeowners and they said that their signs had been stolen earlier and then went out of town. When they got back home the signs were back in their yard.
