Three Teens With Loaded AK-47 Arrested After Scaling Wall at Trump’s Mar-A-Lago

On Wednesday, three teenagers were arrested after climbing a wall at Mar-a-Lago resort owned by President Trump and were carrying a loaded AK-47.

No members of The First Family were at the resort which is closed for the summer.

WPTV reported that around midnight the teens were spotted in a silver Hyndai that was parked and when officers approached the vehicle they drove off.

Later, the teenagers jumped the wall and hid onthe grounds, officers surrounded the club. Police used a police dog and a helicopter to help in finding the juveniles.

The kids claim they were trying to evade police and didn’t know they had ended up at the President’s resort and that the AK-47 wasn’t theirs, but that they “found it”.

The teens are being held at Juvenile Assessment Center in West Palm Beach with charges of trespassing with a firearm, burglary with a firearm, and resisting arrest without violence. Prosecutors are still determining whether or not to charge them as adults.
