I was inspired to write this short article after hearing this inspiring quote from Billy Graham. Of course, I am writing at home and have not been outside or with friends for a while, so keeping you occupied and keeping your morales up are a few of my top priorities right now. I would like to offer a short prayer for all those fighting the disease, both in the front lines and on the home front.
Do not look forward to what may happen
tomorrow; the same everlasting Father who cares
for you today will take care of you tomorrow and
every day. Either He will shield you from suffering,
or He will give you unfailing strength to bear it.
Be at peace, then. Put aside all anxious thoughts and
imaginations, and say continually: “The Lord is my
strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in Him
and I am helped. He is not only with me but in me,
and I in Him.
I would also like to offer a powerful and popular verse from the Bible to remind us that God is always there and things will get better, as we are the children of God and He will do everything in His power to aid us and uplift us in any struggle.
“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
I will end this on the note that hope and faithfulness are the strongest weapons we have to fight this virus and defeat it, so tonight, I am asking for all to engage in a strong prayer for anyone you know who is grappling with any effect of this virus or have it themselves.
Thank you for reading, God Bless you and God Bless America!
